Jerzy Flisak * worked as a poster designer, a book illustrator, a stage designer and a satirical cartoonist * born 24 September 1930 in Warsaw - died 21 January 2008 * graduated from the faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw Polytechnic * contributed to many magazines in Poland and abroad - contributed to 'Szpilki' magazine for many years and worked there as an art director * prestigious awards: the award at the International Art Directors Club Exhibition in 1962; the award of the Ministry of Culture for his achievements in satire; the award of the Chairman of the Ministers' Council; seven times the Szpilki award and awards in many competitions organised by the Museum of Caricature in Warsaw - fot.
