Andrzej Klimowski * book designer, illustrator and poster designer * born 1 July 1949 in London, the son of Polish immigrants * studied painting at St.Martin's School of Art, London and poster design at Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in the studios of H. Tomaszewski * before his return to UK in 1980 he designed several theater and film posters * senior Tutor in Illustration at the Royal College of Art * cooperates with several theaters and publishers * lives and works in London * major Awards: second (1977) and third (1978) prize of the Hollywood Reporter's Film Poster Competition, Los Angeles, USA
